FindPlayPlace helps parents find kid-friendly play places nearby — playgrounds, splash pads, and restaurants with play areas — with photos and details confirmed by other parents. This page is here to help you get the most out of the app and to reach us when you need a hand.
The fastest way to get help is email. A real person reads every message.
When you write in about a bug, it helps to include your device model, your iOS version, and a short description of what you did and what happened.
Yes. The app is free to use. If it helped you, there's an optional Tip Jar in Settings → Tip the developer — tips are one-time and are not refundable.
Open the app and allow location access when prompted. The map and list show play places around you, sorted by how close and how fresh they are. You can also search by name or pan the map and tap Search this area.
Tap the filter controls above the list to narrow results by amenities like shade, restrooms, changing tables, nursing areas, free parking, and more — so you know a spot fits before you go.
Sign in, then use the app's add and review actions on a place's detail screen. Other parents' contributions are what keep the listings accurate and current — thank you for adding yours.
To protect children's and families' privacy, FindPlayPlace automatically covers detected faces in submitted photos before they're shared. This happens on your device. Face detection is best-effort, so if you ever spot a photo that should be reviewed, please report it (see below).
FindPlayPlace uses Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. There is no FindPlayPlace password to create or remember.
If you sign in with Apple, you can hide your email behind Apple's Private Relay. The app works fully either way — including if no name is shared.
Bookmark any place to your Saved list, and organize places into folders. Your saved places sync across your devices when you're signed in.
FindPlayPlace is a community for families, and we take safety seriously.
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and revokes the sign-in connection with Apple or Google, and it cannot be undone. Content you contributed stays in the app but is anonymized so it can no longer be attributed to you; your personal-only data (bookmarks, folders, and blocks) is deleted. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
